Certified Executive Chef
Hassan A. Mohamed CEC
I am Hassan A. Mohamed, a Certified Executive Chef at Clarks Landing Wedding Venues. Although my educational background initially led me to pursue accounting, my time in Italy unveiled my genuine passion for the culinary arts. I studied classic delicacies and gained invaluable experience from European travels, which ultimately led to my becoming a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation.
For over two decades, I have proudly served as a part of the Clarks Landing Wedding Venues team, sharing my culinary expertise with guests on their momentous occasions. Drawing inspiration from my global culinary experiences and delightful Caribbean cruises, I take immense pride in curating an enchanting cocktail hour. By imparting my staff with traditional techniques and emphasizing preparing food from scratch, I strive to deliver unforgettable wedding experiences.
It is my privilege to personally meet with each couple, attentively listening to their unique needs and desires, which may include ethnic cuisine and special dietary considerations. My ultimate goal is to transport guests to a realm of luxury and culinary brilliance. I am committed to turning your vision into reality, ensuring an unforgettable experience that will be cherished forever!
General Manager
Jackie Truesdale
Hi, I am Jackie! Born and raised at the Jersey shore (a proud Sea Girt Patriot for life), I attended Loyola University in Maryland and dedicated 7 years of my career as a Jersey City school teacher. I was honored to earn Teacher of the Year 2019-2020. Those who know me well have dubbed me “Jac of all trades”. My knowledge of and love for the wedding industry is homegrown – my family has been in the business for many years. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for party planning. Being one of seven children, every dinner is a party! (I LOVE a good theme party.)
When I’m not helping our team deliver exceptional wedding experiences, you’ll find me spending time with family and my golden retriever, Hunter.
Fun Fact: I love going to Vermont to snowboard, ride my dirtbike, spin honey, and make homemade apple cider.
Senior Wedding Coordinator
Susan Zambrana
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” These are the wise words once said by Walt Disney and they have been a mantra in my life for everything that I have done. Hi, I’m Sue and I am a Johnson & Wales graduate from the Charlotte, North Carolina Campus. Don’t get me wrong, I am born and raised in Jersey my whole life but I’ll say the occasional “Y’all” when you meet me!
My degree is in Hotel & Lodging with concentrations in beverage management, event management, and psychology! If you ever see me walking backward, it’s because I spent my years in college perfecting the skill of giving campus tours. What I bring to the table is previous knowledge in the wedding and hospitality industry.
I always said that my goal was to make others’ dreams become a reality and I’ve found that bringing weddings to life could not make this statement any truer!
Fun Fact: I dabbled in archery (however, I am no Katniss Everdeen), I love going away to the mountains to hike and snowboard with my family, cooking and baking are my passions!
Wedding Coordinator
Racquel Roberts
Hi, I am Racquel! I started my career after high school as a hairdresser. Although I have loved my experience in the industry on the beauty side of things, I find that the organization and details of an event are what truly excite me. I have a keen eye for design and strive for perfection which is why I am currently studying event planning at the New York Institute of Art and Design. Making dream weddings a reality is what I strive for!
Fun Fact: If I’m not working, I’m probably at home with my pup and listening to Taylor Swift!
Wedding Coordinator
Christopher Mierta
Hi, I am Christopher! My journey in the world of Hospitality began when I was just a teenager. From then on, my passion for creating unforgettable experiences has been the cornerstone of my career. Raised in a bustling household, my most cherished memories revolve around gatherings, parties, and celebrations – moments filled with joy and connection. With every interaction, my goal is to spread happiness and craft lasting memories for everyone I encounter.
After years of restaurant management, I moved into the event industry, and immediately fell in love with weddings; they are the culmination of joy and love, and family all in one! After working at several hotels and venues, I became an integral part of the creation of the events department at The Asbury Hotel, helping them grow into a robust and successful event destination on the Jersey Shore.
With over 15 years of event and wedding experience, from planning, coordinating, decorating, executing, and even officiating, it is in my core to guide couples along the path to matrimony!
Fun Fact: I lead an online gaming community with over 100 active members who play online together! Ask me about World of Warcraft!

Tyler Gonnella
Hi, I’m Tyler! After graduating from Penn State University, I began my journey in the food and hospitality industry! Starting off as a line cook for an off-premise catering business, I slowly worked my way up to head manager, where I was responsible for booking events such as weddings, corporate affairs, and even private family events. With every event, I felt solely obligated for ensuring that everyone attending had the absolute best experience.
After nearly a decade of experience in that industry, I was honored and privileged to join Clark’s Landing Yacht Club, and it was a perfect fit. I’ve also been fortunate enough to work and experience every aspect of this business; from working in the kitchen, to serving and bartending, and even working in the office with our team to ensure that we not only make it stress-free but that we make it the most memorable experience, one in which you will never forget.
If I am not working, you can find me somewhere outdoors, or even in the gym. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and making new connections, and that is why I love what I do.
