A Floral Fairytale: Megan & William’s Bridgerton Wedding

Décor and florals have evolved far beyond supporting roles in weddings—they’ve become central elements that tell a story! Across the country, couples are not just following trends; they’re setting them, using bold design choices to tell their own love stories. There’s a beautiful blend of vintage charm and timeless tradition, seamlessly infused with modern influences, creating a look that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Megan Eustice and William Helicher’s wedding on June 14, 2024, at The Mill Lakeside Manor perfectly embodied this creative spirit, and the results are truly breathtaking.

Outdoor Ceremony

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this wasn’t your average wedding—it was a floral fairytale in full bloom. Though Megan and William didn’t set out to host a Bridgerton-inspired celebration, the lakeside ceremony, the soft sound of a violinist playing from the water’s edge, and the abundance of florals at every turn painted a scene straight out of a Bridgerton episode. Designed by the talented team at Flowerful Events, the real blooms brought the couple’s vision to life in the most breathtaking way. Shades of coral, lavender, soft blue, and lemony yellow created a vibrant palette that felt both whimsical and timeless. These lush arrangements transformed every corner—from the ceremony arch to the reception tables—into a dreamy garden setting, wrapping guests in the magic of the moment.

Sips and Seats

Instead of traditional seating cards, Megan and William delighted guests with a breathtaking display of individual blooms tucked into colorful glass vases. Each bloom featured a delicate note card tied with ribbon, bearing the guest’s name and table assignment. This imaginative detail added a garden-party flair and offered each guest a beautiful keepsake to take home. The romantic atmosphere was further elevated by a live performance from Sweet Harmony, whose elegant violin music flowed effortlessly from the ceremony into cocktail hour. Their melodies set the tone as guests mingled, moving easily between the outdoor deck and the 360-degree bar, all while enjoying an abundance of thoughtfully curated food stations. It was a relaxed, joyful transition that invited guests to savor the experience from the very first sip.

Ballroom Bliss

Large floral installations can often come with a hefty price tag, but Megan and William made a thoughtful and stylish choice by repurposing their ceremony arch as a backdrop for their sweetheart table. Not only did this give their gorgeous florals a second life, but it also created a stunning focal point that framed the newlyweds with elegance. The arch perfectly complemented the vibrant centerpieces throughout the reception, transforming the entire space into a setting reminiscent of a Bridgerton-inspired ballroom.  Their vision was a beautiful reflection of what we always share with our couples: The Mill Lakeside Manor can be anything you dream it to be—whether you lean into its natural elegance or transform it with decor. Megan and William’s celebration was a seamless blend of tradition and modern flair, proving that you don’t have to choose one or the other. To all future couples: your wedding is more than a day—it’s your story. And when that story is told with heart, purpose, and a touch of magic, it becomes a memory that lives on forever.
